Everything BUT…

This is the Brand that started it all.

Everything BUT started as The Kitchen Sink and evolved into the portfolio you are looking at now.

I wanted a place to showcase my skillset and used the phrase “everything but the kitchen sink”, starting with the second half of the phrase, and later found that the first half actually worked better.

This was a place for me to upload illustrations and such for my time in college, but there was no real structure to it, so I closed the accounts in early 2025.

As you can see from the mini brand outline above, there were several strands, some of which got explored (like the blogs, for example)

My issue with this particular setup is that I used too many fonts and too many colours. And after a lot of deliberation, I decided to wipe the slate clean and start a fresh page and portfolio built into one.

The first rendition of the creative studio logo whilst still using Everything But…

This college idea was the catalyst that started my megs_creative_studio Instagram.
